The Reactivation Windows 10 after a hard change thread. It says to register Microsoft account. Should I boot back into the hard drive Windows 10 to do that first? How long do I need to wait after that? I'd also want to confirm the solution work for Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7.
For the hard drive based instllation, I saved the GenuineTicket. That activated successfully. I just booted back into my hard drive Windows Now it's showing it's not activated! It shows Error code 0xCF The hard drive installation was done last year and was updated to last night before I cloned it.

These 2 will never be used together. I normally use the SSD one. HD is a backup setup. As long as you won't change the motherboard the HDD or SDD whichever you are using will be activated, as the license is embedded on the motherboard itself.
Now I can see the words "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account" in my setting page. Is there any web site that I can manage this? Or this is just a recovery mechanism. Until the next time I need it, I can just leave it as is?
